New Series - Words

James 3:9-10 With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be.

James teaches that "no man can tame the tongue." If this is true, why even try?

For the next three weeks we'll explore the solution to this problem and dig down to the heart of the issue to allow God to take control. What great things would God do in your life if you gave Him your WORDS?

The Greatest Sermon

For the last 4 weeks we've been studying Jesus' Sermon on the Mount from Matthew 5-7. As we continue to study this passage, we'll be covering prayer, anger, conflict, loving your enemies, worry, the narrow gate and how to build a strong foundation. Jesus teaches us how to be transparent people, full of grace and truth, free of hypocrisy and called to love others. We would love for all of our parents to partner with us and reinforce what your student has been learning. Read along as we continue to be amazed at the teachings of Christ.

Matthew 7:28-29 - When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.

Wednesdays lesson will be a continuation of the previous Sunday service lesson.
